For those 86,882 souls who will have to wait to witness Michael Jackson in concert after he postponed all five of his Sports Arena shows, take heart. The release of “Moonwalker”--the videoextravaganza executive produced by Jackson and his manager, Frank Dileo--has been scheduled for Jan. 10 release by CBS Music Video Enterprises. “Moonwalker,” which was (or will be) theatrically released in most of the rest of the world, features a number of Jackson set-pieces, the center of which is the maxivideo “Smooth Criminal.” (Jackson plays an L.A. detective out to foil super-drug-lord Joe Pesci.) There’s also “Leave Me Alone,” Jackson’s envoi on the perils of being famous, and a version of “Come Together”--the Beatles tune to which Jackson owns the rights. The tape’s going for $24.98.
