Walsh to Report to Albuquerque After Signing
Former El Camino Real High pitcher Dave Walsh has agreed to terms with the Los Angeles Dodgers on a 1989 contract with their triple-A farm club in Albuquerque, the parent club announced Friday.
Walsh, a 28-year old left-hander, was 14-1 with a 1.73 earned-run average in 125 innings for Laredo of the Mexican League last season.
Walsh originally signed with the Toronto Blue Jays organization in 1982 out of UC Santa Barbara.
