Jockey Dies From Injuries in Neb.

HASTINGS, Neb. —
A 38-year-old jockey died today at Mary Lanning Hospital from injuries he suffered during weekend quarter horse racing at Queen City Downs.
Stanley Wolfe, who was aboard Ucountican in the 660-yard eighth race Sunday, was injured when he was thrown into the inside rail. The rider and horse were in the No. 1 post position, said Adams County Fairgrounds Manager Jim Kresbach. He declined to comment further on the accident.
