San Diego Sports et Cetera : McMullen Signs With Hawks
Former San Diego State center Mitch McMullen has agreed to terms with the Atlanta Hawks and will report to the team’s training camp in Memphis, Tenn., Friday.
McMullen’s agent, Keith Glass, said the one-year contract was partially guaranteed. Glass said he also had been negotiating with the Lakers and Dallas.
McMullen was not chosen in the NBA draft. He participated in the Seattle SuperSonic and Denver Nugget rookie camps and was a starter for the Laker entry in the Southern California Summer Pro Basketball League.
