The Sports Calendar Is Too Full to Worry About the World Cup
The one positive of The Times’ windy soccer coverage is that it allowed me to read through the sports section in record time. I pass right over soccer and read only about the real sports.
God wouldn’t have given us arms if he was a soccer fan. Soccer players are theatrical groin-kickers in hot pants and certainly not models for American youth.
