SAN DIEGO : Man Found Shot to Death in Car
A 23-year-old man was found shot to death in Normal Heights early Tuesday, slumped behind the wheel of his parked car, police said.
Marshal Hill was discovered about 1 a.m. Tuesday with a single gunshot wound in his head, Police Lt. John Welter said. The car’s engine was running and the headlights were on, Welter said.
Police were called to the 3700 block of Swift Avenue after residents reported a loud argument followed by gunshots, Welter said.
Witnesses reported seeing a large, four-door sedan and a light-colored sports car leaving the scene, Welter said.
Police said they did not know whether the shooting was gang-related but were investigating the origin of stereo equipment and answering machines found in the back of Hill’s car.
