OCEANSIDE : Brothers’ Fight Ends in 1 Death
A fight between two Oceanside brothers ended with one man dead and the other arrested, a police spokesman said.
Larry Simeta, 29, reportedly collapsed during the 8:15 p.m. fistfight in a parking lot behind his home near Mission Avenue and El Camino Real on Monday, Officer Bob George said.
Simeta did not regain consciousness and was pronounced dead at the scene, officials said. Police said Simeta and his brother Reynolds Simeta, 32, had wrestled each other to the ground just before the younger brother became unconscious.
