THOUSAND OAKS : 2 Teen-Agers Sought in Store Robbery
Two teen-agers robbed a Thousand Oaks liquor store with a handgun, then fled with an unknown amount of money and a case of beer, officials said Thursday.
The youths entered the Spirit Shoppe at about 10:30 p.m. Wednesday, pointed a pistol at the store clerk and wrapped the stock clerk’s arms and body with duct tape before fleeing on foot, Sheriff’s Department officials said.
Authorities continue to investigate the incident and Ventura County Crime Stoppers is offering up to $1,000 for information leading to the arrest of those responsible for the heist.
