Authorities are offering a $1,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of the person who robbed a customer at a laundry last month in Thousand Oaks.

About 7 p.m. Sept. 16, a man entered the Mr. Dry Clean in the 1000 block of Avenida De Los Arboles and, after displaying a handgun, demanded money from the unidentified victim, according to Ventura County Sheriff’s Det. Ernie Montagna.

Before leaving, the suspect ordered his victim not to move for one hour, authorities said.

The suspect is described as white, in his mid-20s, 5-foot-7 and average weight. He was wearing bluejeans, a light-colored jacket and shirt and had a dirty appearance.
