Tustin Man, 77, Struck and Killed by Car
TUSTIN —
A 77-year-old Tustin man was struck by a car and killed Wednesday evening while crossing the street in front of his home, authorities said.
Charles Nelto Amorosa died at the scene near La Colina Drive and Kenwood Lane, according to Rick McAnally of the Orange County coroner’s office. Apparently, Amorosa was trying to cross the street to visit a neighbor and was hit by a car about 5:20 p.m., McAnally said.
The driver, whose name was not released, was not cited, according to the California Highway Patrol.
