3 Students Readying for County Spelldown
Anaheim Union High School District will be sending three junior high students to this weekend’s Orange County Spelling Bee.
Eighth-graders Amber Hoffman, Nicole Volta and Cicely Andres took the top three places in the district’s spelling bee Feb. 12 at Orangeview Junior High.
The three beat out 24 other spelling bee hopefuls for a chance to compete with junior high students from across the county.
