Will Clark showed he still has more than just warning track power.

Clark hit his first homer since May 30 and Darren Oliver pitched into the ninth inning Thursday night as the Texas Rangers downed the Colorado Rockies, 8-3, at Arlington, Texas.

And Clark’s homer wasn’t a cheap one, going 407 feet to center field.

Clark has only eight homers this year, and hadn’t had a multiple-RBI game since May 25 at Detroit.

“It felt good to finally get one because I’ve had a few close calls the last couple of games,” Clark said. “It gave the team to lift.”

Clark hit a three-run shot, capping a four-run sixth inning that gave the Rangers a 4-1 lead. It was Clark’s first homer in 29 games and 113 at-bats.

San Francisco 6, Oakland 4--J.T. Snow homered twice and Barry Bonds hit his 20th homer, an upper-deck shot that left him blowing kisses to the crowd at San Francisco.

Snow led off the Giants’ three-run fourth with his 11th homer and also led off the fifth with a homer. He has seven homers in his last eight games.

Bonds, helped in part by howling winds gusting up to 30 mph, homered into the second row of the upper deck in right field. He blew kisses to the crowd of 47,719--the Giants first sellout since 1994--after crossing home plate.
