Selanne Skates, but Still Doubtful

Share

Teemu Selanne skated Thursday for the first time since straining his right thigh Nov. 11 against the Carolina Hurricanes, but it appears doubtful that he’ll be able to play tonight against the Edmonton Oilers.

Selanne has sat out four games because of the injury, but Marty McInnis has filled in capably on the first line. McInnis, acquired last month from the Calgary Flames via the Chicago Blackhawks, has heated up offensively just in time. He has three goals and four assists in the last five games.
