Kellar Watson Jr., former owner of Watson’s Drug & Soda Fountain on Chapman Avenue, died Monday at age 92. Watson was born in Orange and died in his Orange home. He lived to celebrate the 100th anniversary in August of the drugstore his father started. Services will take place at 1 p.m. Saturday at Waverley Church in Santa Ana, 1700 E. Chapman Ave. His family has asked that donations be made in Watson’s name to the American Cancer Society, 1432 Chapala St., Santa Barbara, CA 93101.
