L.A. Loves ‘Bones’ Soundtrack

The so-called “Dogfather,” also known as Snoop Dogg, is a winner on the local album charts this week.

The soundtrack to New Line Cinema’s movie “Bones,” starring Snoop Dogg, enters the local charts at No. 12.

The album rounds out the Top 40 on the national charts at No. 39, proving once again that the hip-hop genre does major business in Southern California.

The soundtrack features songs by Bad Azz, Kurupt, Kedrick, C.P.O., Nate Dogg, Outkast, Xzibit and LaToya Williams as well as new material from Snoop Dogg. “Bones” hits the theaters nationwide on Wednesday.
