Huge fire destroys Beverly Hills mansion, injures one firefighter
One firefighter was injured Thursday night battling a huge house fire in Beverly Hills that took nearly two hours to extinguish.
The blaze in the 1000 block of Wallace Ridge was reported just before 9 p.m. and required firefighters from Los Angeles city and county, Culver City and Santa Monica departments to help douse the flames.
Aerial video showed the roof of the 4,500-square-foot, multi-million dollar home being swallowed in flames.
No civilians were injured but one firefighter suffered minor injuries, officials said Friday.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
