Football: CIF state bowl games continue today
Corona del Mar and Atherton Sacred Heart are set to kick off in the CIF state Division III championship bowl -- the first of three games today at StubHub Center in Carson.
The Sea Kings (15-0) are led by quarterback Luke Napolitano and running back Cole Martin. Sacred Heart (13-1) is led by quarterback Mason Randall and receiver Chris Lee.
The Division II bowl between Chaminade and Enterprise will be at 4 p.m., followed at 8 p.m. by the highly-anticipated Open Division game pitting undefeated De La Salle against undefeated St. John Bosco.
The North and South split Friday’s games, with Central Catholic beating Bakersfield Christian 36-23 in the Division IV game and Bakersfield routing Del Oro 56-26 in Division I.
