National signing day: UCLA gets Scott Quessenbery
Scott Quessenbery, one of the top centers in the nation, has signed with UCLA.
Quessenbery, who is 6 feet 4, 276 pounds, played at Encinitas La Costa Canyon High School. He is ranked fifth at his position by Rivals.com and seventh by Scout.com. Jake Brendel, UCLA’s current starting center, had a solid year and is only a sophomore.
