Ryan Kelly finally made his exhibition season debut for the Lakers in the team’s 100-95 loss to the Golden State Warriors on Tuesday in Beijing.

The Lakers lost an 11-point lead in the fourth quarter, when the Warriors’ starters were playing against the Lakers’ third string.

Kelly sat out the team’s first four exhibition games as he worked his way back from April foot surgery.

In 12 minutes, Kelly made two of three three-point attempts and finished with six points. He missed two other shots. He had three rebounds, two fouls and a turnover.

The Lakers drafted Kelly with the 48th pick in the 2013 NBA draft. The Duke Blue Devil sat out summer league while rehabbing.

Kelly’s rookie contract is not guaranteed. The Lakers can carry 15 players to the regular season, which means at least two more need to be cut before Oct. 29.

With the loss to the Warriors, the Lakers’ record dipped to 2-3 in exhibition games.

Kelly will have three more games to impress. The Lakers face the Warriors again, Friday in Shanghai.

The Lakers return home for an exhibition game at Staples Center on Tuesday against the Utah Jazz.
