USC to face Arizona receivers who have big-league pedigrees
- Share via
Arizona’s receiving corps has a big-league pedigree.
It is led by Cayleb Jones, the son of former Dallas Cowboys linebacker and three-time Super Bowl champion Robert Jones.
Cayleb Jones, a third-year sophomore, has a team-best 32 receptions for 525 yards and six touchdowns.
He is sixth nationally in receiving touchdowns and 14th in receiving yards.
Austin Hill, a fifth-year senior, is the son of former NFL tight end David Hill, who played 12 seasons with the Detroit Lions and Los Angeles Rams. (Hill is also the nephew of L.A. sportscaster Jim Hill, an NFL defensive back who played for the Chargers, Packers and Browns).
Austin has 18 receptions for 275 yards and three touchdowns.
Ken Griffey Jr. was a 13-time Major League Baseball All-Star, but his son -- Trey Griffey -- opted to play football.
A third-year sophomore, Griffey has 10 receptions for 105 yards.
