Phaedra Parks of “Real Housewives of Atlanta” is divorcing her imprisoned husband, Apollo Nida.

“Phaedra has retained an attorney with the intent of amicably ending her marriage,” her rep said Friday in a statement.

Nida, of course, started an eight-year federal prison sentence a month ago after pleading guilty in May to identity theft and fraud. He turned himself in almost a day late, saying in an Instagram video shot when he arrived at the penitentiary that he was “about to go asunder.”

He also has to pay $2.3 million in restitution to the more than 50 victims of his four-year operation and faces five years on parole when he gets out of prison.

Parks is scheduled to appear on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” next Thursday to discuss her situation. Expect her to be “very candid about what happened with Apollo, her life now and plans for the future,” her rep told Starcasm.

The couple’s situation, which her rep told CNN had “put a tremendous strain on Phaedra and her family,” will also be incorporated into the upcoming seventh season of “RHOA,” which debuts next month on Bravo.

Parks and Nida met in 1996, well before he went to prison for auto-title fraud in July 2004, and reconnected shortly after he was paroled in May 2009. They got married in November of that year, and she gave birth to their first son, Ayden, in July 2010. Son Dylan arrived in May 2013.
