To celebrate Cotton Candy Day on Thursday, West Hollywood restaurant Barton G. is serving up a special dessert out of spun sugar. Pastry chef Luis Vasquez is making cotton candy and shaping it into a two-foot edible neon pink cotton candy wig. The dessert, called Marie Antoinette’s Head, will feature the candy served on top of a mannequin bust, complete with raspberry and strawberry cream cheese cakes with fresh berries and whipped cream. The dessert is now available for $18. 861 N. La Cienega Blvd., Los Angeles, (310) 388-1888, www.bartongtherestaurantla.com/.
