Dog Haus Biergarten in Pasadena will go full-Bavarian on Sunday at noon to watch Germany compete in the World Cup final. Any customers wearing traditional German lederhosen or dirndl gear get their first liter of beer for 7 cents. It will be happy hour all day, and the restaurant has seven large flat-screen televisions to watch the game inside or outdoors. The first 100 customers get a Dog Haus T-shirt as well. The Luckyrice Asian food festival will make its third trip to Los Angeles on Aug. 7 from 7 to 10 p.m.. For $88, attendees can walk around the Create Nightclub in Hollywood tasting a variety of Asian foods from local eateries including Hamasaku, Sunny Blue, Ayara Thai and Seoul Sausage. There’s a chance for some star-spotting too, as Jamie Foxx, Tyra Banks and Lisa Ling attended last year’s festival. Bombay Sapphire is a partner in the event, so expect plenty of cocktails. Tickets can be purchased online at www.luckyrice.com. Create, 6021 Hollywood Blvd., Los Angeles.

The Southwest Voter Registration Education Project is hosting its annual fundraiser Sabor de las Americas on July 17. The Los Angeles River Center will house a competition between head chefs from three Latin American eateries: Yoli’s Mexican Kitchen, Gloria’s Restaurant and Bar, and last year’s champion El Rocoto. Tickets start at $250 and that buys a 12-course meal (an appetizer, two dishes, and a desert from each restaurant). Proceeds go to benefit the SVREP, which provides voting services in Latino communities. The event runs from 6 to 9 p.m. and tickets can be purchased online at svrep.org/sabor. Los Angeles River Center and Gardens, 570 W. Ave. 26, Los Angeles.
