Boys’ basketball: Rogers Printup makes school-record eight threes for Orange Lutheran

You can say that Rogers Printup sure proved he can make threes on Friday night at Orange Lutheran. The UC Davis-bound senior set a school record with eight threes and finished with 32 points in the Lancers’ 75-63 Trinity League win over JSerra.

Orange Lutheran will face Mater Dei at home on Wednesday for first place. Keisean Lucier-South added 16 points. Vance Jackson contributed 31 points as St. John Bosco defeated Servite, 88-65. Mater Dei defeated Santa Margarita, 52-44. Rex Pflueger scored 17 points and MJ Cage added 10 points and 14 rebounds.

In the Bay League, Inglewood upset Redondo, 57-54. Terrell Gomez led Inglewood with 23 points. Leland Green led Redondo with 19 points.

Seth Guillory of Long Beach Jordan scored 48 points in an 88-78 win over Lakewood.

In the Foothill League, Valencia is in first place after a 57-51 win over West Ranch. Kyle Ensing and Malik McCowan each scored 16 points. Valencia rallied from a 10-point fourth-quarter deficit.

In the Mission League, Alemany stayed in first place with an 89-58 win over Harvard-Westlake. Shacquille Dawkins finished with 26 points and Daron Henson had 21 poiints and 15 rebounds. Loyola defeated Sherman Oaks Notre Dame, 58-50. Josh Curls had 16 points. Michael Oguine scored 17 points in Chaminade’s 71-42 win over St. Francis.

In the Baseline League, Damien remained unbeaten with a 76-36 win over Upland. Malik Fitts and Bryce Peters each scored 14 points. Etiwanda defeated Los Osos , 69-39. Delewis Johnson had 19 points. Chino Hills defeated Rancho Cucamonga, 89-62. LiAngelo Ball scored 38 points.

In the Palomares League, Brandon Brothers scored 32 points to help Glendora defeat Ayala, 84-82, in overtime.

In the Marmonte League, Westlake defeated Agoura, 68-57. Isaiah Brooks had 16 points and was eight for eight on free throws. Michael Hayon added 13 points and 10 rebounds. Thousand Oaks defeated Calabasas, 67-60. Matt Hauser and Luke Romacker each had 15 points. Justin Bessard led Calabasas with 26 points. Oaks Christian defeated Newbury Park, 61-38.

In the Olympic League, Village Christian defeated Whittier Christian, 56-40. Bennie Boatwright scored 28 points and had 15 rebounds.

Oak park defeated Royal, 56-36. Riley Battin contributed 18 points and Wesley Slajchert added 15. Both are freshmen.

In the Del Rey League, Stephen Thompson Jr. passed the 2,000 points mark in career scoring, finishing with 19 points, in Bishop Montgomery’s 71-48 win over St. Bernard. Cantwell-Sacred Heart defeated Gardena Serra, 58-48. Gligorije Rakocevic had 15 points and 16 rebounds.

In the Prep League, Pasadena Poly defeated Flintridge Prep, 45-42. Dante Fregoso scored 17 points for Flintridge Prep.

St. Bonaventure is 7-0 in the Tri-Valley League after a 71-31 win over Carpinteria.

In the Ocean League, Jayce Johnson scored 17 points in Santa Monica’s 61-51 win over Hawthorne.

Reed Nakakihara scored 17 points in Foothill’s 61-57 win over Esperanza.
