OK all you hotshot receivers. If you want to know if you’re any good, try going up against defensive back Deommodore Lenoir of L.A. Salesian.

He’s going to be the standard for excellence this summer and fall.

During a passing practice on Wednesday night at Loyola, when he was allowed to play man-to-man coverage, it was like trying to get past a brick wall. His hands made it difficult for receivers to get off the line of scrimmage. And his speed made it difficult for receivers to escape.

He’s up to 36 scholarship offers, and he’s the real deal.
