Baseball: The next generation arriving at Sherman Oaks Notre Dame
It’s almost going to be Back to the Future for the coaches at Sherman Oaks Notre Dame come fall.
They’re going to be reminiscing about the 1990s.
That’s because Tyler Stromsborg will be arriving on campus as a freshman. It’s perhaps the beginning of a group of sons from fathers who were standouts at Notre Dame in the 1990s showing up.
Tyler’s father, Ryan, was a top baseball player for Notre Dame, graduating in 1993 and going on to USC.
Tyler and his younger brothers are promising athletes. Tyler is expected to play baseball and football for the Knights.
Notre Dame baseball Coach Tom Dill has never coached the son of a former player before.
Tyler attends Chaminade Middle School, and several of his classmates are supposed to be joining him at Notre Dame.
