A man with a reputation for accosting celebrities at high-profile events was charged Friday with four misdemeanors for allegedly hitting Brad Pitt in the face, according to the Los Angeles city attorney’s office.

Vitalii Sediuk, 25, a former Ukrainian journalist, was charged with assault, battery, unlawful activity and unlawful delay of a sporting or theatrical event in connection with the Wednesday night scuffle at the movie premiere for “Maleficent,” which stars Pitt’s wife, Angelina Jolie.

Sediuk is accused of stepping over a barricade around 7:30 p.m. and hitting Pitt in the face. He was quickly taken into custody by Los Angeles police officers.

He’s being held in lieu of $20,000 bail and is scheduled to be arraigned Friday afternoon in East L.A.

Wednesday’s run-in was the latest in a string of incidents between Sediuk and celebrities.

In January, Sediuk appeared at the Screen Actors Guild Awards. He somehow found his way to “American Hustle” actor Bradley Cooper, wrapped his arms around Cooper’s legs and pressed his face against him.

In February 2013, Sediuk appeared onstage at the Grammys. He nearly ruined Adele’s acceptance speech for solo pop performance. The incident reportedly landed Sediuk a night in jail.

Weeks after that, Sediuk crashed the Academy Awards. He made an entrance wearing a Bjork-style swan dress accessorized by a pail full of replica Oscar statues. He was stopped by police and told to leave.

In May 2012, Sediuk surfaced at the Moscow premiere of “Men in Black 3,” where he reportedly kissed Will Smith. The actor immediately shoved Sediuk away.

As Smith made his way down the red carpet that night, he told one reporter, “[Sediuk] is lucky I didn’t sucker-punch him.”
