One dead in Crenshaw district shooting
Los Angeles police are investigating a shooting that left one man dead in the Crenshaw district Saturday evening, authorities said.
The man was shot at about 6:20 p.m. near 28th Street and Crenshaw Boulevard and was pronounced dead at the scene, said Officer Sally Madera, a Los Angeles Police Department spokeswoman.
The victim was identified as Keith Alan Hasson, 48, of Hawthorne, according to the Los Angeles County coroner’s office.
Witnesses reported seeing a black SUV speeding away from the scene on Crenshaw Boulevard, Madera said.
