Girl, 3, abandoned at Grove shopping center, LAPD says

A 3-year-old girl was abandoned at a Grove shopping center parking lot on Saturday, police said

A 3-year-old girl was found abandoned Saturday at the Grove shopping center, and Los Angeles police are looking for her parents or guardian.

The girl was found around 6 p.m. by a parking attendant, according to the LAPD.

She "stated that a woman dropped off the young girl at the valet parking area with a car seat but nobody arrived to pick her up," the police said in a statement.

The girl, who goes by the name Audrey, is in good condition and was being cared for by the Department of Children and Family Services.

The girl has dark hair and wore a pink shirt and purple pants.
