A Corona man turned himself in to police this week in connection with a fatal fight that involved “bladed weapons” and a disagreement over an adult escort hired online, authorities said.

Corona police said that in the early morning hours of Nov. 15, Robert Alexander, 25, and James Apodaca, 32, were involved in a physical altercation over an “Internet transaction” involving an adult escort on the site Backpage.com.

Alexander and Apodaca were in the 1600 block of Via Pacifica at the time and both “possessed bladed weapons,” Corona police said, declining to disclose the exact types of weapons used.
