3.9 magnitude earthquake hits Monterey County
A 3.9 magnitude earthquake struck Monterey County on Wednesday near the town of Gonzalez and was felt across the county.
The quake struck at 9:20 a.m. along Highway 101.
There were no reports of injures.
The quake was inland from the coast, and officials said there was no tsunami threat.
