Clippers sign Jordan Hamilton to another 10-day contract

The Clippers signed small forward Jordan Hamilton to a second 10-day contract Friday morning.

The small forward has averaged 3.3 points and 1.5 rebounds in 11.5 minutes a game over four games, including two starts.

Hamilton, 24, had 10 points in nearly 26 minutes in Monday’s win over Minnesota. He had three points in just over 18 minutes in Wednesday’s loss to Portland. And he was scoreless in his other two games, both of which he played fewer than two minutes.

Before signing his first 10-day contract with the Clippers on Feb. 24, he appeared in 27 games (22 starts) for the Reno Bighorns of the NBA Development League. He averaged 18.1 points, 7.6 rebounds and 3.6 assists in 28.6 minutes.

Hamilton was drafted by the Dallas Mavericks as the 26th overall pick of the 2011 draft. He was then traded to the Denver Nuggets on Draft Day.

He has a career average of 5.7 points and 2.7 rebounds in 13.2 minutes with the Nuggets, Houston Rockets and Clippers.
