St. Louis’ Trevor Rosenthal picked up his 100th career save last week, become the 142nd pitcher to reach that mark. How many of this 142 have been left-handed? Answer at end of these notes.... Since Aug. 24 of last season, the Mets have hit 29 home runs at Citizens Bank Park, home of the Phillies. How many have the Phillies hit there in that time? 29.... Only 25 of the 142 relievers with 100 saves have been left-handed. The top five: John Franco (424 saves), Billy Wagner (422), Randy Myers (347), Dave Righetti (252) and Sparky Lyle (238).
