Football: Former Alemany QB Vernon Adams passes for four TDs
Former Alemany quarterback Vernon Adams began his junior season at Eastern Washington on Saturday by completing 26 of 48 passes for 302 yards and four touchdowns in a 56-35 victory over Sam Houston State.
Adams also rushed for 61 yards.
Adams was runner-up last season for the Walter Payton award, given to the top player in the FCS division.
