San Francisco 3, at Florida 2: Tim Lincecum pitched three-hit ball into the eighth inning to win his fifth consecutive decision. Lincecum (5-1) was lifted after yielding Chris Coghlan’s two-run homer in the eighth, which made it 3-2. Brian Wilson pitched a scoreless ninth for his 15th save.
at Houston 6, Pittsburgh 4: Matt Kata scored from second base on Miguel Tejada’s infield single, breaking a seventh-inning tie.
Colorado 7, at St. Louis 2: The Rockies have won four in a row and are 6-4 under Manager Jim Tracy after going 18-28 under Clint Hurdle.
New York 7, at Washington 0: Livan Hernandez gave up four singles in seven innings.
Chicago 6, at Cincinnati 3 (14 innings): Alfonso Soriano led off the 14th inning with a home run, his 14th of the season.
at Atlanta 8, Milwaukee 7: Chipper Jones had two homers and matched his career high with five RBIs.
Philadelphia 7, at Dodgers 2: Ryan Howard, Carlos Ruiz and Shane Victorino homered for the Phillies.
