Update: There’s little more than pride on the line in this one because FC Dallas was eliminated from playoff contention last week and Chivas USA, winless since July 28, is guaranteed of finishing last in the Western Conference. Still, Chivas probably has more to play for since second-year Coach Robin Fraser is widely expected to be let go after the game. Many of his players could also be playing their final game in the red and white, making this an audition for jobs elsewhere — a possibility Fraser hinted at after training last week. “Somebody’s always watching,” he said. “You’re always showcasing yourself. There’s always, potentially, another opportunity.”
