National signing day: USC gets Crenshaw’s Ajene Harris
In the last few years, Los Angeles Crenshaw High has supplied USC with a steady stream of talent.
Senior linebacker Hayes Pullard, who will start for a fourth consecutive season, and offensive lineman Marcus Martin, who declared for the NFL draft, came to USC after standout years at Crenshaw.
USC got another Cougar on Wednesday. The school announced that Ajene Harris signed a national letter of intent with the Trojans.
The 5-foot-11, 180-pound Harris is listed as an “athlete.”
He played quarterback at Crenshaw but is regarded as a multipurpose player.
“He can really do anything on the field, especially when the ball is in his hands,” USC Coach Steve Sarkisian told USC’s website.
