Southern Section, Fox Sports West reach agreement on contract extension

Fox Sports West/Prime Ticket has reached agreement with the Southern Section on a “long-term agreement” for web and television coverage.

The new contract begins in 2014. Fox Sports West and Prime Ticket have been televising games since 1997 when it began a local game of the week.

The contract is for six years, according to a source who was not authorized to speak publicly about the agreement.
