Santa Ana Shuts Out Moorpark in Softball
The Santa Ana College softball team beat Moorpark, 2-0, Tuesday at Santa Ana as Chris Makimoto (14-1) pitched a three-hitter.
The Dons’ Sam Arledge scored both runs, one in the first inning on an RBI by Makimoto, and the other in the fifth on a passed ball. Santa Ana is 31-2. Losing pitcher Jill McAuley of Moorpark gave up seven hits.
