VALLEY SPORTS ROUNDUP : Cal Lutheran Falls to Westmont, 90-83

Five players scored in double figures for Westmont College in a 90-83 victory over Cal Lutheran in a NAIA District 3 basketball game Monday night at Cal Lutheran.

Chad Kammerer scored 22 points and Chris Hahs scored 16 points and grabbed a game-high 14 rebounds for Westmont (3-1, 1-0 in district play), which had a 52-35 edge in rebounds.

Jeff de Laveaga scored a game-high 31 points for Cal Lutheran (1-3, 0-2), which stayed close by making 10 of 19 three-point shots.

Glendale 65, Dos Pueblos 46--Jason Harper scored a game-high 16 points to lead Glendale (2-2) in a consolation-bracket game of the Simi Valley tournament.

Mike Wright added 14 points for Glendale, which finished in 11th place.

Alemany 57, Oxnard 56--Richard Dice scored a game-high 20 points to lead Alemany (2-2) in a consolation-bracket game of the Simi Valley tournament.

Antonio Williams led Oxnard (1-3) with 19 points. Will Burr scored 17 points for Alemany, which finished in 13th place.

Canoga Park 92, Sylmar 57--Chris Ofstad, a 6-foot-6 senior, scored 16 points and added nine rebounds for Canoga Park in a consolation-bracket game of the Simi Valley tournament.

Senior guard Lindsey Dunbar scored a game-high 17 points for Canoga Park (2-3), which finished 15th.

Pasadena 79, Hueneme 77--Hueneme, which trailed by seven points with 1 minute 17 seconds left, came up short when Tony Smith’s driving, contested lay-in came up short in a semifinal game of the Bishop Amat tournament.

Dwine Knott scored 20 points, Smith had 19, and Wendell Nunnery added 17 for Hueneme (1-1).

Harvard 118, Glendale Academy 38--Thirteen players scored for Harvard in a first-round game of the Faith Baptist tournament.

Markus Puhvel led Harvard (1-1) with 18 points and teammate Iheanyi Uwaezuoke, who made seven of 10 shots from the field, scored 14.
