Former junior welterweight boxing champion Aaron Pryor, who failed to show up for two Ohio court appearances, has been given another chance to make the appearances today, his attorney said.

Pryor had faced sentencing on a drug abuse charge. He was scheduled to appear in another courtroom afterward for a hearing on a charge that he violated his probation from a 1989 drug offense.

He is scheduled to appear today in both courts, according to his attorney, Leslie Gaines.

Pryor faces a possible jail sentence of six to 18 months and a fine of up to $2,500.
