Kelly Miller scored 14 of her 21 points in the second half as No. 4-ranked Georgia beat Virginia Commonwealth, 77-63, at Richmond, Va. Georgia (9-2) closed the first half with an 11-3 run to take a 40-30 advantage over Virginia Commonwealth (7-2).
No. 5 Iowa State made nine consecutive three-point shots in the first half to beat Northern Iowa (5-3), 97-73, at Cedar Falls, Iowa. . . . Stacy Stephens had 15 points and 10 rebounds as No. 15 Texas (11-1) overcame a slow start to beat Southwest Texas (4-5), 82-47, at Austin, Texas. . . . Tamara Stocks scored 19 points as No. 16 Florida (9-0) routed Chicago State (1-9), 79-30, at Chicago.
