5 injured after plunging 20 feet at Southern California casino
Five people were injured Saturday after falling 20 feet at a Southern California casino, fire officials said.
Just before 3:20 p.m., five people fell from Commerce Casino in the 6100 block of East Telegraph Road in Commerce, said Los Angeles County Fire Department dispatcher Cheryl Sims.
It was unknown where the people were when they fell. All five were taken to a hospital with minor to moderate injuries, Sims said.
A spokeswoman for Commerce Casino, which includes a 200-room hotel, declined to comment to the Los Angeles Times.
