Body found in trunk of car parked ‘for several days’ in San Bernardino
Police in San Bernardino discovered the body of a man Wednesday inside the trunk of a small car, authorities said.
The man’s body was found inside a sedan parked in the 600 block of West Courtland Drive, said Lt. Richard Lawhead of the San Bernardino Police Department.
Witnesses said the sedan had been there “for several days,” Lawhead said. The car was first reported to police shortly after 10 a.m.
It’s unclear what led to the man’s death, and a homicide investigation is ongoing, Lawhead said.
This report will be updated as more information becomes available.
