Bishop Amat’s Chris Gaston withdraws his commitment from UCLA
Bishop Amat defensive back Chris Gaston announced Thursday that he has decommitted from UCLA.
“It was a decision that I made with my family and we felt like it was the right decision to move forward in different direction,” Gaston wrote on Twitter.
Gaston, 6-foot-2 and 180 pounds, committed to the Bruins in September.
On Wednesday he posted a photo of an in-home visit with a Colorado State assistant coach. The Rams made him an offer in November.
Gaston also has an offer from Idaho.
UCLA has a commitment from defensive back Leni Toailoa from Rialto Carter and Darian Owens from Fresno Clovis West, who also plays receiver.
