John Travolta crashed a wedding in Georgia last week and the photo evidence of the surprise guest is creating a stir online.
But is it technically crashing if the bride and groom invited you? The couple reportedly bumped into the actor at a bar the night before and told him to stop by the nuptials.
"My friend ran into John Travolta the night before his wedding, and he shows up the next day," a friend explained on Reddit (via Yahoo).
And the pilot obliged. See the pics here.
The actor was photographed at the bar wearing jeans, a black baseball cap and tee with the bride and groom. The next day, he appeared again in the same outfit with the decked-out man and wife. He also gave a thumbs-up to the camera as the trio smiled together against a verdant backdrop.
Just another way to "be cool," we suppose. Still, the household name upstaged the bride and groom big time. It's sure to be a memorable day for the Mr. and Mrs., and not just because they tied the knot...
The celebrity of honor, who is married to actress Kelly Preston, also posed for pics with the entire bridal party.
It is unclear why the 59-year-old was in town, but it isn't the first time the "Savages" star has dropped by a wedding unannounced.
In 1977, the "Welcome Back, Kotter" alum and actor Robin Williams made a guest appearance at a Santa Barbara wedding.
"We were having fun, starting to relax, when we saw there was a wedding next door," Travolta told USA today. "We figured we'd crash it."
"They figured out who we were," Williams said. "Some guy yelled out, "Hey, they really are Mork and Vinnie Barbarino!'"
