The royal baby is on the way!
The announcement was made at 7:30 a.m. London time, but the duchess had been admitted to the hospital around 6 a.m., according to the Telegraph.
The former Kate Middleton and her husband, Prince William, both 31, traveled by car from Kensington Palace to the hospital, according to World Now, reporting from London. She's in St. Mary's private Lindo Wing, where Wills and younger brother Harry were born. Her husband was expected to be at her side for the delivery.
On Monday morning, police guards could be seen via live feed standing on either side of an exterior door to the wing.
The baby — be it a boy or a girl — will be third in line for the throne behind
Either way, the queen will be told what's up before the general public is in the know.
However the best part (in the Ministry's opinion), the name, might not be known for a while. After all, it took a week to come up with "William."
