If you’re a fan of the Slurpee, 7-Eleven’s sugary frozen drink, then the convenience store chain has a deal for you over Memorial Day weekend. To kick off the summer, 7-Eleven is selling all medium-size Slurpees for 49 cents throughout the holiday weekend. And if you’re wondering, an eight-ounce cherry-flavored Slurpee is 66 calories and 18 grams of sugar.

Ben & Jerry’s is having a buy one, get one free promotion throughout the month of May. Customers can choose either a small or large cup or cone. We say go for the large!

Baja Fresh is giving all military personnel 25% off any purchase through Tuesday. Just remember to bring in a valid military ID.

Hooters is offering all military personnel and veterans 10 free wings with a drink purchase Monday. Bring in a valid military ID or proof of service for the free wings and a salute.

Pono Burger, a new burger joint in Santa Monica, is offering a special for two, for $33. Guests can choose two of chef Makani Gerardi’s special burgers, including the posh burger with Mycella blue cheese, truffle aioli and sautéed mushrooms, the sweet Mona burger with a strawberry-balsamic compote, or the spicy Wahine burger with wasabi mayo, ginger, Okinawan sweet potato chips, pea shoots and sesame ponzu dressing. The burgers come with two orders of fries and two glasses of fresh-squeezed lemonade.
