Brothers Lonzo and LiAngelo Ball of Chino Hills High headline The Times’ All-Star boys’ basketball team

The Los Angeles Times All-Star boys basketball team:

Jemarl Baker, Eastvale Roosevelt, 6-3, Jr. — One of the top three-point shooters in the Southland, the California commit shot 44% from three-point range and averaged 15.6 points.

LiAngelo Ball, Chino Hills, 6-6, Jr. — The UCLA commit averaged 27.5 points a game as the go-to offensive player for a team that scored more than 100 points 18 times this season.

Lonzo Ball, Chino Hills, 6-6, Sr. — Unselfish and doing whatever it took to deliver victory, the UCLA-bound point guard led the Huskies to a 35-0 record and Open Division state title, averaging 23.4 points, 11.5 rebounds and 12.9 assists.

Shacquille Dawkins, Mission Hills Alemany, 5-9, Sr. — The Mission League MVP averaged 19.3 points and was a four-year starter for the league champion Warriors.

Keith Fisher, Los Angeles Westchester, 6-7, Sr. — The San Jose State-bound Fisher led Westchester to the City Section Open Division title, averaging 19.8 points and 11.1 rebounds.

De’Anthony Melton, Encino Crespi, 6-4, Sr. — The USC-bound Melton led Crespi to the state Division I championship, averaging 20 points, 9.3 rebounds and 4.3 assists while becoming the Celts’ all-time leading scorer.

David Singleton, Torrance Bishop Montgomery, 6-3, So. — He averaged 18.9 points, made 69 three-pointers and 92% of his free throws for the 28-3 Knights. He scored 22 and 33 points in games against No. 1 Chino Hills.

Jonah Mathews, Santa Monica, 6-2, Sr. — The USC-bound Mathews led the Vikings to the Southern Section 1A championship. He averaged 24.1 points, 8.4 rebounds and 6.2 assists.

Bryce Peters, La Verne Damien, 6-4, Sr. — Bound for Colorado, Peters was a two-year standout playing in a league that included unbeaten Chino Hills. He averaged 22 points and five assists.

Eyassu Worku, Los Alamitos, 6-2, Sr. — The school’s all-time scoring leader is headed to UC Irvine after finishing his senior season with averages of 24.4 points, 7.1 rebounds and 4.6 assists.
