Up next for UCLA: Thursday at California
When: 6 p.m.
Where: Haas Pavilion.
On the air: TV: ESPN2; Radio: 570.
Records: UCLA 18-6, 8-3 in Pac-12; Cal 14-9, 6-5.
Update: Bruins beware: The Golden Bears are the reason UCLA is tied for first place in the Pac-12. California defeated Oregon and Arizona in the last two weeks. “The season is in our hands,” UCLA forward Travis Wear said. “We don’t want to lean on anyone else.” California guard Allen Crabbe averages 19.8 points to lead the Pac-12. He had 21 against the Bruins earlier this season, but UCLA won, 79-65. The Bruins have been outrebounded by eight or more in the last four games.
